Literature Text

She sits alone,
In the shadows cast by her fears
As they haunt her mind.
And I can see the tears fall
When her smile fades.

Does she know that I'd give anything
To write love on her arms,
Love on her arms today?
How can I prove to her that I just want
To write love on her arms again?

I hold out my hand,
Reaching to take her away from this place,
From the shadows she's in,
To take her into the light.
And maybe she'll know that

I'd give anything
To write love on her arms,
Love on her arms today.
How can I prove to her that I just want
To write love on her arms again?

She came with me;
We went far away from here,
And forgot the world.
Now she knows,
Now she truly understands,
Yeah she understands

That I'd give anything
To write love on her arms,
Love on her arms today.
I finally proved that I just want
To write love on her arms again.

I'll write love on her arms again.
This started out almost six months ago as a piece of writing to show my support for To Write Love On Her Arms and TWLOHA Au ([link] and [link] respectively) but I lost it after writing the chorus. Also, about four months ago, I promised a friend I'd write her a song... I think she thought I was kidding.

Anyway, I found it today and decided I'd finish it. As I finished the first verse I realised that it was perfect for her song... Now I'm not just writing her a piano solo piece, I'm writing her this.

I want this to be a band piece but first I need a band... So I'm putting it off for now.
